Into the global COVID-19 outbreak and resulting crisis, our on-ground teams have quickly adapted their direct services to new restrictions on movement and the increased need for essential services and food—all the while ensuring that the CH children experience as little interruption to their education as possible.

CH is training its teaching staff in remote learning practices and has adapted the curriculum to digital learning. Together, they are now working to motivate parents to participate in at-home learning, testing student learning, supporting children’s emotional needs, and building class morale, along with subject area work in math, English, Hindi, and early childhood. They have also invited parents to participate in planning.
