Relief programs play a vital role in supporting communities during times of crisis, offering immediate assistance, essential supplies, and emotional support to those most affected.

Distribution of essentials for the harsh winter season; support with education items like uniforms, books, stationery and such; and distribution of hot and nutritious meals.

Winter Distribution

When unexpected crises like hurricanes, earthquakes, or floods strike, Children’s Hope India steps in to lend a helping hand. We partner with established, local organizations that are actively working on the ground in the affected areas. We recognize that damage from natural disasters can have devastating effects on children and families, severely disrupting their lives. To meet some of the immediate and longer-term needs, CHI support a range of relief efforts. Here are some highlights:

- COVID-19 Pandemic - CH has actively participated in providing support where ever required.   

- Flood Relief: Sangli & Kolhapur - After a week’s flood, 70% of the cities were badly affected. CH with the help of Abhalmaya Foundation supported with the e-learning tools like PCs, Printers, and Projectors etc.

- After the earthquake in Bhuj Gujarat, in 2001 we built a school for more than 300 children and a children’s ward at a hospital.

- When a strong earthquake hit Kargil (in Jammu-Kashmir) in the winter of 2008, we distributed blankets to local communities through the Indian army.
