Who Are We?

While CH is not the only organization working for good causes in India, CH is making a difference and contributing to society in its own humble but extraordinary way.

Registered as a trust in India since August 2012, CH draws it’s inspiration from Children’s Hope India, New York and works with total transparency. During this journey of 10 years CH has associated itself with more than 25 projects which are located in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkatta, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Pune, Jammu and Bhuj.

CH helps children and families progress from poverty to prosperity. We do this by partnering with local organizations that improve access to education, medical care, shelter, social services, and job skills training. Over the years we have helped to give hundreds of children and their families the capacity and courage to achieve their dreams.

Why Us?

Not just a funding agency but, a partner and a supporter

Children’s Hope is a dedicated organization working actively toward the betterment of not so privileged children. We operate with total transparency for all stakeholders and closely monitor every project under our wing - so much so that our board members work as volunteers on the projects.

Our mission ensures that children receive the best possible holistic care to grow into capable and successful adults.

The Need

An estimated 40 million children go off to work instead of school every day. More than 20 million of them live in slums across India. Urban slum dwellers are the fastest growing sector of India’s population, expanding five times faster than rural communities. Left uneducated and faced with poverty, children are easily pressed into child labor, begging, substance abuse, early marriage, even prostitution. For these children, childhood is merely a fleeting dream.
