The Covid-19 pandemic has not deterred Children’s Hope but rather, has pushed the team to work beyond our boundaries to overcome the challenges that the less fortunate are facing. Children’s Hope continues to do more in the coming days and support larger numbers of the vulnerable people who need this aid, as resources are fast dwindling. CH Covid-19 Relief Campaign provides:

- – Motivating community for getting vaccinated
CH has already provided over 30,000 meals, 15,000 masks / gloves, 2,500 sanitizers. We have already reached out to the innumerable families, destitute women, daily wage earners and others apart from our own children at our centers. Our communities have also aggressively participated in making the masks (keeping in mind the WHO guidelines) which have not only been distributed amongst the communities but also have been used in the hospitals.
In the given situation of social distancing, teaching has been the most challenging. However, our teachers have really made an effort to provide online education via WhatsApp and are doing an extremely good job to keep children engaged. This has proved to be a challenge as the community does not have smartphones or good internet connection. Mental health care of the children and their families has proven to be yet another challenge. CHI is sad to lose contact with a few of it’s children as the families are migrating due to Covid-19.
