The residents of Vikaspuri camps are chiefly rickshaw pullers, daily wagers and their families. Within the community there stands a dire need for early childhood education, in order to prepare children, aged 3–6, for formal schooling.
Focus is also placed on health & nutrition, covering physical, mental and emotional health, and computer literacy. Generation of awareness amongst families is critical, and covers important subjects like the need for education, health and hygiene etc.
